Abroad in Japan Christmas Party 2022 | London Event! Feat. Natsuki, Ryotaro, Sharla, Pete Donaldson

Hey guys,

So as you know these last few years due to COVID I've not been able to return to the UK for Christmas at all, which is typically the time I head home for a much needed break. Beyond that, it's my favourite time of year and Japan doesn't exactly do Christmas well.

Given I haven't had a decent Christmas in the UK since 2019, this year I wanted to celebrate in style (particularly as it's the 10 year anniversary of Abroad in Japan) and so I'm delighted to say we're holding an epic event at the best cinema in London, the Picturehouse Central at Piccadilly.

Specially flying in Natsuki and Ryotaro, we'll be joined by Pete Donaldson, American Pete, Sharla and Chiaki with a decent chunk of the Abroad in Japan cinematic universe present.

The plan is to screen a video, play a gameshow and give out presents to the audience and tickets go formally on sale later today in a few hours. I wanted to give you guys on Patreon the first chance to get seats!

As spaces are absurdly limited, if you're interested in going, I highly recommend booking a ticket the moment you see this post, as they're likely to sell out fast.

If you're unable to make it or are too far, don't worry as hopefully we'll get to do more events like this next year outside of Japan (and in Japan) now that the pandemic has become less of a hurdle, so it shouldn't be the last opportunity.
