I'm officially back in Japan and ready to hit the ground running after a spectacular few weeks in the UK and shooting a special Wacky Weekend UK edition with Connor and Joey.
With Journey Across Japan: Escape to Paradise almost upon us as well, July is set to be a busy month, kicking off with a new video tomorrow about my failed Japanese health exam (oh yay) and plans for the second half of 2022.

2022-06-26 23:05:42 +0000 UTCHi Chris have you heard about Floatplane, it's made by some of the people who work at Linus Tech Tips (kind of, I think it's a subsidiary) Anyway, it's like YouTube but without the algorithms, people subscribe (like on patreon), but the YouTubers on there seemed to already have a lot of followers like you, and release special content like on patreon. Floatplane, as I understand, tries to be a lot more fair with its pricing and gives a lot back to the creators in comparison to YouTube. Might be worth reaching out to Floatplane or someone at Linus Media Group. I know it's another platform but I think in their case it's much more simple e.g. 'upload and go'. Either way, good luck!
