It was quite the surreal 30th birthday; holding it on Youtube with a few thousands folks around the world joining in certainly turned what was looking like a fairly bleak evening into a really fun birthday. I was delighted that even though Natsuki couldn't make it in person, his presence was still the highlight of the start & end of the show! What an absolute legend! 😄
It's days like this I feel incredibly grateful to everyone who watches Abroad in Japan and has become a part of this surreal journey, so I'd just like to say a huge thanks to all of you for your support over the years both as viewers of the channel and here on Patreon.
I look forward to raising the bar in 2020 and doing everything I can to turn this damn year around.
For now though, if you weren't able to catch the show live you can now watch it on Youtube and as for me, I'm going to crawl into bed and reflect on my first day as a 30 year old while munching on my remaining fried chicken biscuits.

We hired an animal farm to come to our house and we got to hang out with ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and pigs for 2 hours while drinking and talking... It was great. So don't worry about your 30th... Look forward to many amazing birthdays in the future.
