So I'm back in Japan and ready to go - I've got the jet lag out the way and a smile on my face (only one of those two things are true).
And I'm looking forward to the first Patreon live hangout of this year, Jan 31st at 7:30am Japan time - a brand new time that hopefully means more of you can join.
One of the benefits of being jet-lagged and re-configuring my wake time is I've been getting up at 7am every morning. So this month I thought rather than hold the show at 10:00pm, I'd kick off in the morning instead.
I'll be answering your questions, revealing what we've got lined up in the coming weeks and rummaging through the various sweets and presents I received before Christmas from many of you guys.

Next week we're off to Sapporo for the Snow Festival - where there appears to be absolutely no snow this year (brilliant).
Never the less, I'm bloody excited as we're joined by Natsuki, Pete Donaldson, Sharla and Chiaki. Hopefully you guys have some ideas on what you'd like us to film while we're there though, so throw your ideas at me during the live show.

While watching the livestream it suddenly dawned on me where that mug picture is from! It's from the thumbnail of your video 'how I blew away fame and money' or something. Am I an OG? Someone with great memory? Someone who rewatches your videos a few too many times? Someone who needs a hobby? Who knows....

2020-01-31 01:01:24 +0000 UTCDamn, I might have to miss this livestream, am driving to Chicago for a weekend getaway with the girls to see kpop star Amber Liu perform on her X tour and we're leaving as soon as I get off work on the 31st at 3pm. I might ask how interested they are to listen in on the live stream as we're driving though, so you might get a surprise me joining in mid drive with two people who may or may not have ever seen any of your videos (which could prove to be hilarious, they both want to go to Japan sometime in the next couple of years, so it could be good for them!).....hmm...this might be the best idea for entertainment on a road trip I've had yet.....

Just joined Patreon this week as I really want to support everything you do on your channel. I have a question about travel. I've been to Japan twice, once in spring and once in autumn. I love the idea of visiting north Japan and possibly Hokkaido in the winter possibly February at is my anniversary. Is this as romantic and magical as it looks or will it be too cold to really enjoy it? Keep up the good work and I look forward to the live show.
