I hope you've all had a great end to the week and are gearing up for the weekend!
This month's Patreon Live Hangout will be this Sunday 24th February at 9am Japan time - and evening for Europe / the US. I've changed the time from the usual 10pm evening slot (Japan time), as I'm keen to see how this affects the turnout. I suspect more of you guys can join at this time around the world (even if it does mean I'll have to drink a bucket of coffee to wake me from the dead).
It should be a lot of fun and there's plenty to discuss from recent weeks; from Ryotaro's 3 year anniversary on Abroad in Japan and the one year anniversary of the Abroad in Japan Podcast, to an onslaught of Journey Across Japan videos and my first major event/meet up in two years.

Question for you though: As you may know, Peter Barakan hosts Japanology for NHK. He is a very wholesome and great dude who has a lot to say. He reminds me of Dogen in some ways. Have you ever considered doing a collaboration with him? It sounds like an interesting concept, a "mix between modern media and oldschool tv personalities"
