Journey Across Japan | Tokyo Creative After Party Feat. Natsuki | Feb 17th

Hey guys!

Sorry to post twice in one day, but there's an awesome event coming up and before I promote it on social media, I wanted to share it with you guys.

On Sun 17th February, Tokyo Creative is holding an event in Tokyo to celebrate the Journey Across Japan series!

By Feb 17th not all the videos will be out from the series - although we'll be releasing a fair few episodes between now and then - but the event is a celebration for completing the cycle and producing over 40 videos along the way.

At the event we'll be looking at highlights from the trip and hearing stories from everyone who took part, from myself and Natsuki, to Sharla and Joey - we'll all be there present at the event! (YES EVEN NATSUKI).

The event is ticketed and it's on a first-come-first-served basis; so if you're in Japan or Tokyo on the 17th of Feb and you think you can make it, get a ticket ASAP from the website below, which has all the details on where, when and how: https://bit.ly/2G0vMJP

There'll be a Q&A, a video with bonus highlights from the trip and prizes to be won, giving away memorabilia from the trip (for the love of god, I hope they don't give away Joey's pillow).

I'll be promoting the event on social media from Tuesday - so if you're keen to drop by, grab a ticket before then! I wanted to give you all a three day head start first.

Obviously, most people won't be able to make the event (what with living several thousand miles away), but the whole event is being filmed, so even if you can't make it, you'll still be able to enjoy the party!

Thanks guys - if you have any questions, ask away below.

Damn, I'll be in Japan from March 1st else I'd definitely tried to get a ticket!

Wish we could go!!! But the hubby and I won’t be in Japan until late October. Enjoy your well earned after party!!! 😄

I wish my trip hadn't been pushed back. I would absolutely love to attend.

Wish I could take off work on short notice for this, but alas. I want to go to Japan so badly, especially with the perk of a guarantee of saying hi to you in person. I’m for sure going in 2020. No matter what.

Are you doing a ceremonial/celebratory/symbolic beard shaving there - to truly mark the end of the cycle? hehe. I also can’t make it, but ‘break a leg’ with it (as they say) and I hope everyone has an enjoyable time :-). Can’t wait to see the video!

This would be an amazing experience, wish I could make it. I have a question, what is work like for Plumbers in Japan and what are the jobs most in demand. I'm looking into moving over and trying to do some research. I'd be grateful for any information.

I know of one, Ueno zoo in Ueno, Tokyo. Great area as well :) Haven't been to the zoo myself, but I hear it's pretty big :)

Also, I have kids, when we travel I love to tell them made up stories about monsters and child eating monsters. Does Japan Have Zoos?

Giant Salamander Video request.

Dangit, won't be in Japan for another 2 months yet. Maybe I'll make it for the after party to the next insane thing you do. Maybe journey across japan by kayak or something.

Mathew Williams-breese

I just booked my tickets! Looking forward to seeing you guys!

We're going to stage an intervention right?

What is that facial expression you're going for, Smoulder? lol Like most, I'm quite sad I won't be able to make the event. I hope you have a great time!

Damn, wish I could be there!

I wish I was there for that event. But I will have to wait until April 2020 before I go back to Japan. I am going around the Sendai area, since you have posted so many fun and interesting things to do and places to go! Thank you for that! Good luck at your event! Can’t wait for the videos.

This sounds like a great event! Too bad I won't make it to Japan before April. But I wish you a lot of fun and am looking forward to seeing the video. Btw, is this the second big event where viewers can meet you since the TEDx talk you held at Tohoku University?
