I really enjoy watching your videos on YouTube and on Patreon, I don’t have any problems understanding English on those videos, but on Podcast..... ohhhh I really need to focus and play it again and again lol. I found another reason to study English🎉

What? Locked the door and locked into the love hotel? Never Happend to us. My wife and me was in there a few times. Paid before or with a pneumatic tube from the room and left whenever we were..... ... ... Ready to go. 🤣 Without a looked door at all... 😏Is it really normal?🤔

Thanks for the recommendation of readthekanji.com in the video that you see when you subscribe to your patreon channel.

I’m loving the podcasts, love the fact that Pete is from my hometown and the accent being such a familiarity to me makes this a double pleasure to listen too. Always a laugh and fan content. I’m a bit of a japanophile myself, not yet been as I have up my job to care for my disabled friend and moneys tight, but I will get there one day and I know I won’t want to come back!

I enjoy these podcast immensely, but there is an alternate way to listen. If you want a good laugh. Play the podcast on 0,5 speed. It becomes a drunk chat between two brits. Highly recommend it!

It doesn't take too long too - a few hours a week compared to videos which take days. It's a nice way of telling stories and experiences from my five years in Japan and getting them out there! Experiences I think people will find useful or interesting - and it's fun chatting with Pete, as he's a Japanophile who's never lived here (but visited a lot), so I can give him an insider perspective along the way!

Apologies if this was already answered, Chris, but what motivated you to start a podcast? It's delightful and I enjoy the content for what it's worth. Cheers.

I’ve listened to them all at least three times - not out of narcissism so much as to learn how to get better and work out what works and what doesn’t. It’s quite fun trying to master a new medium!

Hey Chris, I’m liking the podcast a lot. My only pet peeve is the adverts, but I can put up with it knowing it gets you some extra income. Random question, do you ever listen to the podcast episodes?

lol I am currently watching it and you guys mentioned Estonia! I was surprised, but he got it wrong in Estonian lol. The right way would be: kus on toilet?

I love these podcasts. They provided me the motivation to exercise and pass the Army Physical Fitness Test. (APFT) Keep up the good work! With any luck I may be stationed in Japan as an Army officer at Fort Zama. Again, outstanding work.

I want to say that I love the song at the end. It fits your podcast really well.
