ASK ABROAD LIVE Q&A | November Edition

Hey guys,

I hope you're having a great week so far!

So the results are in and the most popular date and time (by a reasonable margin) was this Saturday 2nd December at 22:00 JST.

Given that this is technically November's live show, it won't be the last of the year; we'll be having another one in December and I'm currently trying to get Natsuki on board to feature as it'd be an awesome way to wrap up the year! I'll give you a date as soon as it's been decided!

In this week's show we'll be discussing the results from the recent questionnaire, where I asked you about what you'd like to see next year, and what you'd like to see less off. (And of course, the results of who you'd rather get stuck on a desert island with out of Natsuki and Ryotaro).

You can also submit your questions about anything at the link below, and I'll do my best to answer them during the show!

Finally, the live show will be streamed here:

That's all for now folks! Looking forward to seeing you all there and catching up! (I should also be able to talk a bit more about this award thing I mentioned in yesterday's vlog).

Until then, have a great few days!

Chris

Thank you as always, Chris. I can't express how interesting and useful your insights are to me. I do have an idea for a video that I think may be genuinely useful, but it may be a slightly longer term project. I have a friend who visited a pal in Japan some years ago, the pal is a wheelchair user. My friend was horrified at how inaccessible Tokyo was for wheelchair users, and disabled people in general. With Tokyo hosting the Paralympics in 2020, I think you would really be doing the international Disabled community a massive favour by linking up with the Disabled community in Japan, and investigating just how disability friendly Tokyo (or Japan in general is), We need to acknowledge that the infrastructure is still being put into place for the Paralympics/Olympics, and hopefully things will be better than the current state of affairs. I also think that recognising the Disabled community in Japan would be very empowering for them, as I know how marginalised they can feel. I'm disabled myself, so I write from a partially knowledgeable stance here. It would be wonderful if you could respond to this in some way, even if it's just to acknowledge that it is perhaps a project that someone else in the Japanese vlogging community would be better placed to handle. Thanks in advance, xx

It was fun as always, plus I feel happy that I get my questions answered. Chris, do you think you would be able to film a video about the locomotive trips that are available in Japan? The experience of traveling old style in comparison with shinkansen. I think there is one line actually located not far away from you

Missed it live but just finished listening to it :) thanks! I enjoyed it.

Stream was on my birthday and I missed it, feelsbadman. Congrats on the award btw!

It will happen - 8am on a Wednesday was the second most popular option, so I think there'd be enough viewers for it to work!

Abroad in Japan

It will!

One day the US west coast will be able to watch this live chat. I believe

I'll be unable to watch live. Will the recording remain on YouTube to watch later?
