Another day, another bloody bizarre but amazing situation.
Things kicked off with us filming at a Japanese restaurant in London, and chatting with a Japanese expat, who's from the same town in Japan as Natsuki (Sakata). Hideki had been working in London for several years amongst some of London's finest Japanese restaurants, and it was great to chat about his life in the UK.
Afterwards whilst wandering around Soho, by sheer chance and bloody good luck, we got an email from Absolute Radio, asking if we'd be interested in doing an interview on the show!
The next thing we knew we were in the radio station in Soho giving an interview about the Youtube channel and our trip to the UK with radio show host Pete Donaldson, who it turned out, was himself a Japanophile and viewer of the Abroad in Japan channel.
We ended the day by visiting a carvery, where Natsuki got to try his first British traditional Sunday roast dinner (despite being Thursday), which went down a treat - so much so, that he rated it a 9 out of 10.
For the next leg off the journey we're off into the countryside - a much needed break from the city! And so begins a two hour drive off towards Stonehenge.
