Interesting. I wish we could have our protagonist go against these customs from the start. Yet, I know it’s unrealistic with the world they are born in.

The Cross of St. Jerome (Boarding action in book 1) 2. Meritorious Service Order (Battle with ur bros) 3. Gryphon of Rendower (two stripes one for whats listed above and one for the Forlorn Hope's success) 4. The secret service cross is less likely but we wouldn't know about it either way I suppose. Its possible he gets it for hunting down the Partisans after the battle of Kharangia Its possible he would have gotten passed over for these because of his "condition" but I feel like the Gryphon of Rendower would be the only one that the nobility would question
