FYI when trying to connect to a Lovense toy it says the IP address isn't valid when I'm quite sure it is. I even tested out the API myself in my own game project with the same IP address and got it working without issue.

2025-12-30 23:07:13 +0000 UTCI remember the first versions of this game were almost flawless with just two characters, but now even the base two characters are extremely buggy, I am unable to hear any sounds in the game, and that's not even talking about Jade and Baxter, who, were they not borderline unplayable, would otherwise be my favorite characters Edit: Also just realised some animations of Baxter are just recolored animations of Genesis? Like why?

But they've held on for a long while now and things to get fixed eventually... then another content update breaks things again, and hence more patches and hotfixes lol.

2025-01-16 04:15:29 +0000 UTCI mean yeah, it kinda is considering the main difference in the build seems to just be Baxter's implementation. To be fair, Koyyle DID mention in the release post that between the virtual lack of documentation from previous programmers, a bad custom compiler, years of spaghetti code to unravel, and poor modularity thanks to tightly coupled core systems for the game's codebase, it's kind of a massive pain to try and add or change stuff without breaking a ton of other stuff. But reporting bugs ASAP is the only way they can really be addressed in a timely manner so like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's making more and more sense why the game was basically announced as being dropped seeing how something like adding a character can break so many key things all at once. I've gotta admit I respect the tenacity to continue putting up with it all though. If it weren't for the fact it would mean basically scrapping years of work and demanding even more effort though, honestly it's sounding like the only real way to permanently getting around these issues would be a full rewrite of the game, and considering it was about to be dropped literally like 4 days ago, I don't see that happening; it's just not feasible at this point like it might've been far earlier in the development cycle if all these issues could have been identified and addressed back then.

2025-01-16 02:48:57 +0000 UTCSome bugs I found: - Baxter sometimes doesn't actually land when jumping and can't move at all afterwards unless hit - Baxter sometimes gets stuck crouching and can only get out of it by dodge rolling or jumping - Baxter seems to be immune to enemy projectiles? They just fade out of existence when they hit him, and the hornet and worm things' projectiles don't even explode. - Only the werelizard and snoggler can start downed scenes with Baxter, and Baxter can't dominate other enemies with that option when they're downed - in fact, when the other enemies try to grab him, it just gets him out of stun and he's back on his feet. Only exception is huntress cat doing her pounce, in which case it makes like 75% of him go invisible and has both the break free circle and the stun lock thing, but he's in no danger of losing a life and there's no animation. - Werelizards can damage themselves walking through their own breath area now - There wasn't even a new passcode screen when opening the build? It just let me right in? All of this on desktop PC (Windows 10)

2025-01-14 17:41:08 +0000 UTCNot sure if it's a steam deck issue. But Baxter is bugged. He floats in air when knocked. No npc's can interact. The bugs don't damage him. Chat won't progress when talking to any Interactable npc.
