New Public Build (v0.5)!

We are happy with the progress made on the new engine and feel things have come far enough to push a new public release! Those who have  played our last build may be happy to see just how much as been changed to make the game easier understand for new players and more polished overall:

Improved Character Select UI, Loading Screen and Stage Transitions!    

The majority of features present on the character select screen now work as intended. You can now pick from 4 starting stages and select from all 12 pallets if your playing on the Patreon version!  

Navigate easier with the new minimap!

Stages are now bigger and more vertical than before. Keep track of your progress with the new map UI that updates in real time!


New Debug Stage!  

A sandbox level littered with goodies and enemies can now be assessed from the stage select menu! Here you can fight or lose to as many monsters as you like. It's never been easier to report bugs! If you encounter something gamebreaking or just have a suggestion to improve BBS, fill out our [Bug Reporting Form Here!]  


Your name in the game!

Our credits screen is now hooked up to our Patreon API, meaning it will be updated monthly to show all our supporters, organized by each pledge tier! Our biggest life-time supporters are shown as priority first at the top of the list. You can access the credits screen from the main menu!     

 No more stinking Passwords!

We now have just the one public itch build that anyone can download and play. The additional Patreon content is delivered by logging in at the start of the game, otherwise it runs the demo like usual!  This eliminates the need for hunting for monthly build versions/passwords. [Simply download this build and your good to go!]

In other news, we are hiring!

Our team is currently looking for additional in-between keyframe artists to help speed up production! No prior Toon Boom experience is needed and we may accept work done in Clip Studio or equivalent animation software. Subscription fees will be covered so long as you can produce monthly!  We are willing to train to get familiar with the pipeline and will have references to emulate our art-style, however some confidence/experience with animating is required. Please include examples on our [Application Form!]

Quick question about the patreon login thingy: Will the final game be free including all content? I don't mind waiting some time for public versions but I always play on offline machines so drm-free is very important to me ;)

Game seems to crash each time I try to open up the debug room. Animations don't seem to want to initiate too well when I play as Kabier's character and the inbetween frames swap color pallets creating a strobe effect, and when I want to return to the main menu from one of the stages I have to reconnect to the patreon check, but doesn't work unless i reboot the game. So far lots of bugs but still an exciting concept that I hope continues to improve!

Cool. Now I have a few things to say. Well first I will say I love the Huntress. The way she runs, and then how she preps to fire her bow. Really nice. However, having the movement keys and combat keys all in one hand is a bit overcumbersome. It makes doing attacks while moving really hard. I think if you made attacks done by the number pad, or by mouse right click and left click, the combat would feel like it flows better.

Big Gunt is still in development. We are planning to add a news feed to the main menu so that updates can be viewed ingame! Returning to the main menu will skip the Patreon check in the hot fix. The closeup/internal view will be something we can apply to all sex scenes once we bring on more inbetween artists. We are now hiring!

We've heard about the RAM hog problem and it seems to be a bug. We'll be releasing a hotfix shortly in the next 24 hours to resolve the issue! It'll be version 0.5.1 :)

I did not see the big gunt in game. Maybe it was not added yet. Could you release a change log? The one super annoying bug is the game tried to reconnect to patreon and fails to do so after the first time. To clarify it works the first time, but if you try to restart, die, leave the level for any reason. It will go back to the connect screen, but fail to do so unless I close the game entirely and restart it. Also, did I miss the new camera angle mentioned in the previous post?

Look, the game has a lot of potential but for now? it really is unplayable! it literally uses up to 80% of my ram! and messes up my whole system because the little ram left isn't enough to run the system! Making a game like this run on almost 8gb of ram is absurd. i know its a wip game but this problem was in the early builds and were slightly improved (second level was still laggy af). and now i cant even open the game and get into the game! if do i have to shut down my whole laptop! And i able yo run 3d games easily mind you. hole the best for the game, and its devs
