Our Art Team Just Got Bigger!

Thankyou to everyone who sent an application form in to join the BBS development team! One of which has become an official new member of our staff, TimTesy!

Tim has been able to faithfully recreate our art-style, creating multiple new inbetween animations for Vergence in a short time frame. We are very happy with his work, and are very excited for all the new ways we will be able to polish the game. Here are some examples of what's been made this week:

Playable characters will now have a proper turning animation instead of snapping into position! 

Pressing up will now do something! Making your character look up above them.

Crouching has received multiple new frames of animation to help bring it up to par with other moves.

The player will no longer freeze in the air when hitting the peak of their jump.

New inbetweens will be added to various other moves and attacks in the game that currently suffer from a low frame rate, such as the knee attack. Working with Tim so far has been a delight, so we are going to try out some sex scene transitions next month to see if he's up for a challenge!

This also means that low priority art pipeline features such as adding clothing to the game will now be more feasible. You may see Verge rocking some underwear in future builds, slowly building up his full outfit so that it can be swiftly removed again during normal gameplay 😅

In other news, Our new programming hire  ZealotDKD#7783  who was demoted to an assistant position last month for missing deadlines, has now fully resigned due to growing mental health concerns and prior commission obligations. We wish Zealot well for his future endeavors, hoping he is feeling better soon. We will continue to respond to application forms to join our team as we seek out a suitable replacement for the role.

Adult Furry Games Community Spotlight! The BBS team would like to celebrate other similar games being developed from within our community that you may also like to check out. The first that we are going to review is The Forest of Love by CarrotCritters , which we have added a link to at the footer of our landing page! I've had the pleasure of playing Carrots demo and it's looking very promising so far. I'll be playing the latest Patreon build after making this post, letting you know what I think later today!
