2019-06-02 08:51:58 +0000 UTCMy characters (Had only 3) were always who I was exactly. Which lead to many problems with other people cause people were lying to me who they were with their fursonas. Which lead to horrible relationships cause of lies. So I never had a gf again in the furry world. With the furry community in general the moment LGBTQ came into full swing in the furry community I basically left completely. Basically all the people who stayed within the LGBT "standards" like I did basically got kicked to the curb cause we weren't little socialists and Marxists, and SJWs which was all installed into the LGBTQ monster that was created.

I've been in this fandom officially since 2010, and sadly joined right in time to see many of the most old time artists leave. Honesty, I will will admire the art, but from a distance. However, I don't see any point because all the artists I liked and looked up to have left, and the artists that are still here are infuriating. Anyway, thank you for your time and talent, and get yourself out of this pit.

I'd lie to say I'm no longer a furry myself, since I create and watch fur art periodically. However I'm now dissociated from the behavior and image of the fandom... to me furries are no different from the shitty poisonous mainstream culture that surrounds us. Everywhere I turn in this fandom, I'm surrounded by stupidity and closed minded people blindly following this angry crybaby culture. Everyone is offended by everything, from an idea to a stupid fictional drawing (god forbid it's a "bad sexuality" especially). You are not allowed to disagree as that will immediately get you blocked by other furs, often ones you haven't even met in your life and find yourself blocked by randomly. You can't even follow an artist for art any more, because periodically you come across posts like "look at what those bad people did, spread this and let's shame the bad guy, and don't you dare disagree that I'm right or you're banned lol". Fuck today's furry fandom: It's destroyed everything that made it special in the early days, back when it was mostly a group of rebels who didn't conform with the mainstream and did what we felt is right! To me that's still the real fandom: The metalheads who pissed on social acceptability, would take their kids to BDSM parades, and demand "sex drugs and world peace" (reference to the 70's hippie protests). Instead of changing the world to be better, it let itself be changed by the world to be worse and fall into the same sorry pit.
