This project was designed using Kinect V2. It can also work with any type of point cloud. Make sure you have installed the correct SDK.
You will find many pre-defined custom parameters and a description inside the project.
It is important to read all instructions in the project !
How to use parameters?
- time_slices allows to manage the time of shift between the different lines;
- kinect_depth allows to manage the depth of capture of the points of the Kinect. The higher the value, the greater the captured depth will be;
- min_points_scale and max_points_scale manage the random sizes of the points of the Kinect;
- spheres_cubes_points allows to transform the points of the Kinect into different shapes (0: spheres; 1: cubes and 2: points);
- particles_res_mult allows to increase the number of particles emitted, be careful not to increase the value too abruptly. You must press the 1 key on the keyboard to initialize the new value;
- particle_life_duration and particle_life_variance define the lifetime of a particle and the variance of this lifetime. You must also press 1 to apply the change. The particle life management component was designed by Supermarket Salad.
In red you will find the nodes on which it is interesting to vary the parameters.
