Content Quantity vs Content Quality.
Added 2022-06-17 21:16:47 +0000 UTCHey all! I've been trying to think for a while about how to come to happy medium with this so I figured I'd ask you and see what you my Patrons think!
As some of you may notice from time to time I add sound effects to the videos that I do. The one that stands out to me the most is the Werewolf Transformation video. What might not be apparent is just how long it takes me to add in those effects. I'm not a video editor by trade, I'm a hypnotist. (You may have noticed.) So the act of finding the right sound effects and adding them in is time consuming for me. A normal video can take anyone from 6 to 10 hours to edit depending on the background noise. Adding in sound effects can add up to 2 hours to the process.
I also enjoy doing the Outtake videos as well, I feel it helps to at least humanize me a bit. Hypnotists tend to have a massive ego, and that just isn't who I am or how I want to be viewed. I feel my skills speak for themselves (did I mention massive ego?) and I don't have hide that I, from time to time, am a bit of a (major) goofball. But those videos can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to produce.
So my question is, Do you prefer videos to be put out on a more regular basis (2 to 4 a month depending on editing time), but without all the bells and whistles like sound effects or outtakes. Or would you prefer I take my time and add in the bells and whistles, but have a slower release rate (I'd say I'd make 2 a month for sure, maayyyybe 3).
