Final update for 2023

Today marks the end of Jupiter retrograde which began in September this year. Many of you would have felt either an intense uphieval or a sort of shutting down of certain things in your life. The last retrograde that's ongoing is Uranus retrograde that ends at the end of next month but this Jupiter retrograde was the last of a lot of the direct and hard hitting retrogrades all culminating in one go.

Despite the intensity of the retrogrades, there has been an overwhelming energy of calmness and gratitude permeating the last two months specifically. It's interesting how while there's chaos on earth physically, energetically there is peace and calm waiting to replace it when the time comes.

Ultimately, all of these retrogrades aim to bring a balance to our lives. It forces us to face issues we've been avoiding because avoidance can no longer work or just isn't a practical solution anymore. Some major patterns have come up for healing. Jupiter I believe, is seen as a masculine energy planet, and I have senesed major healing within the collective masculine template.

Jupiter is seen as the princely planet of wealth, but also spiritual and religious knowledge. Many would have experienced some sort of shift in this regard too. As part of the rebalancing, I've noticed that some took a greater interest in spiritual and religious matters where they saw wealth and ease is no longer fulfilling them spiritually. To ground, some may have abandoned the comfort of their bed to sleep on the floor. There may have been a desire to fast or generally eat less.

The move from wealth/material to the spiritual was for people to get a taste of the other side. To be able to see what resonates with them or just to attain a deeper appreciation of someone on a spiritual path. In some ways, it may have felt forced because the appetite was directly affected or restricted with the jupiterian shifts but that was counter balanced over the last few weeks where it feels like appetite suddenly increased and we have been faced with all manners of cravings.

Jupiter is a gasseous planet and is described as being hotter than the sun. In spirituality it is known as the hidden or inner sun. It's not as bright as the sun, but in every other way it has similar properties to it. With this also comes shifts in sleep. Going from sleeping only a few hours a day, the bare minimum, to now oversleeping where possible. It feels like a resting is taking place for deeper healing especially with the inner child. The inner child can be very angry if it doesn't feel rested, and that has been a theme especially when sleep was deprived earlier on a month or two ago.

The two biggest themes moving forward are a further rebalancing of the masculine and feminine. In alchemy there is something called the philosopher's stone or in Sufism the red sulphur. Red sulphur Is a mythical substance made of sulphur and mercury. Sulphur represents the masculine while the fluid liquid mercury represents the feminine. Discussion of the red sulphur often comes up in Sufi texts, as it is considered the key to eternal life. I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but there was a reason for the specific releases this month. The akashic records in a way represents the logical mind processing all of that information while the Shekinah energy of sitting in the Divine presence is a feminine energy. My aim was to over time awaken the secret of the red sulphur in doing so.

The other major theme moving forward, is that health is wealth. As there has been so much focus on healing over the years, a lot of that healing will bear fruits now. As we begin to heal, we will begin to see more financial gain also. There is also an emphasis on taking a deeper interest in vitamins or nutrient rich food. The link between food, health and wealth becomes clearer and clearer especially with the recent shifts in appetite we have experienced.

In the coming days, it's going to feel like a sudden expansion of your energy. Like a balloon inflating. The same may be for your life too. As we move into 2024, the year of the dragon, we're going to be seeing a huge growth internally but outwardly too.
