It is designed to help consume prana (energy and light) from your food and environment and to make fasting easier.
It is aimed at being less dependent on food for sustenance or attached to the idea of needing to eat to survive.
For those interested in 'breatharianism' or 'pranarianism' there is support there too. However, as a proponent of different forms of fasting, I personally would not go beyond 3 or 4 months without eating and to see it as a form of fasting rather than alternative diet. There is great power in setting an intention to fast and it's something you only understand when you've experienced it. If you are into No FAP this is going to help you a lot as sex drive and appetite are heavily connected.
