Episode 260 - Our Rudder is Full of Water! Boat Work Nightmare!
Added 2025-08-04 07:01:08 +0000 UTCNot only do we tackle yet another unforeseen job when we find our rudder is full of water, we also have a million other things which need our time and attention! Im still meant to be rehabilitating from my lower spinal damage, but so much needs doing! And now I have crazy episodes of trigeminal neuralgia because of the spinal issues in my neck too, it's a tough old ride this week guys, but we're still making it happen! And Bear is super excited when he catches a fish spear fishing!

Sorry for late reply I seem to have missed the notification for this post? fish spines are always a bit of a nightmare! Chris was stung by a lion fish a few years back that really was nasty! This one is thankfully not that bad just a bit of a nuisance. Bears knee is healing up great now π Im sure like you he'll do it again soon though π€ͺ

Eight days ago "Sailing Banana Pancakes" uploaded "Sailing Day 1 Disaster: Catfish Impales Easton While Fishing". Fortunately neither Easton nor Chris were speared as seriously as Steve Irwin was in 2006. As for Bear's knee injury, I had that type of injury many times back in the 1960's when I was doing a lot of bike riding. I am looking forward to you getting back on the water. The repairs seem to be coming along nicely despite a few setbacks such as water in the rudder.
