September Q&A - Answers

Hey everyone! Here are the answers for this month's questions! This month, the focus was mostly on WSC! 

How graphic are the sex scenes in WSC?

I feel like I've talked about this a couple of times. But I also don't remember when or where. Basically they're written to be a little more spicy than GS - a little more clarity on what's happening or stronger allusions to specific body parts being involved in the activities, so to speak.

There is stronger implication of what is happening. That said.

I'm still not describing things like "Part A getting rammed into Part B". That just is not my style of writing. And it's not going to be that explicit.

I am still unsure of the visuals. I may...make them a little spicier? I don't know for sure yet though as I haven't made any. 

I doubt I would show any nudity but I don't know how strongly it will be implied (if at all).

What are you using to make the art book?

Currently using Affinity Publisher to make the art book for Gilded Shadows (which is the art book I assume you're referring to since it's the only one I'm working on. LoL!) It was on sale a while back, so I grabbed it and actually find it really useful and intuitive. There are a lot of tutorials on youtube as well, which has been really helpful.

I initially was going to try to make it in Canva but decided to try Affinity on the advice of a friend and it's sooo much better. I love it and I think it's made the process much smoother.

Hey Esh will WSC have a Kickstarter?

Not planning on one, no! Not this time. (which doesn't mean other future projects won't need it - just not for WSC).

Do the specific eye colours for Raif and Yren mean anything and how many colours do they have?

Yes! I've mentioned this before though I've never given specifics. I may post a 'code' for this eventually to explain what each colour means but I haven't made one yet.

I think they have...seven. *counts on fingers* Yes. It is seven colours each.

Lore-wise, their eye colour is affected by body temperature and their emotional state but, practically speaking, it'll be emotion-oriented only in the game. I don't think I'm going to worry about their potential body temperature when coding the game. 🤣 So when you see an eye colour change in-game, it'll signify a shift in their emotional state.
