Asher Dioscuri - Sprite Sheet
Added 2023-07-23 07:44:15 +0000 UTCSo I have been, in between writing, working on sprite variations and such for the main cast. A lot of the side characters won't necessarily get secondary outfits or hairstyles but the main cast always will have as many as I can squeeze in.
Though these sheets won't have every variation or outfit, they are designed to show off at least some of the different ways the sprites will appear in the game.
Starting with Asher, of course, since we go in alphabetical order.
Asher somehow ended up with one outfit more than everyone else. I'm not totally sure how it happened but I guess he's just fun to make clothes for. ๐ค
And of course, we have to show off his tattoos in some of his outfits. (Fun fact - blackout tattoos are my favourite because they look cool but are also much easier to recreate in CGs. LoL It'll be interesting to see how many times I forget to add them anyway though. LoL!)
You know, one of the interesting things about sprite expressions that, while I try to create all the same expressions for everyone (mostly for convenience) there are always moments where I realise an expression just doesn't work on a specific character. something about their features or the angle of their face makes it look weird.
The lip-bite is one of them. I wanted to do a lip bite for everyone even though I didn't think I'd use it for some but it also just looks weird on some characters so Asher's lip bite is the only one I am certain will appear in the game. LoL!
Anyway, this is Asher's basic sprite variation sheet.
