Hi everyone! Here are the questions and answers for this month's Q&A. Thanks to everyone who sent in questions!

Do you know how long it'll be between episodes when you start releasing When Stars Collide?

I don't. Not yet. I won't start releasing more until it's fully written so the space between episodes isn't going to be for writing the story but for coding and doing the art.

I'm not sure how long that will take. 

I think the first episode will be a re-release of the current content with some updates - new BG art, and all the game features functional.

Once that is out I'll be able to get a feel for the amount work it'll take to actually get each episode prepped and released going forward.

I'm hoping to have CGs in every chapter but also there's just a lot to code.

Each chapter is pretty long right now (the longest chapter is around 60,000 words at the moment). So that's also just a lot of coding and prep work. 

Anyway, I've rambled a lot just to say that no, I don't know yet. 🤣

Do you think you'll release any DLC for Gilded Shadows?

Probably not. I'm not sure what I'd release as DLC. I know people are interested in some of the side characters but I'm not sure I can do any more routes with the same MC at this point.

It's a wide setting and there's a lot I could explore - but not with Morgan as the female lead and I don't have ideas for anyone else's story honestly.

The only additional content I have planned for GS are the lore book and art book.

Does When Stars Collide happen in the same universe as Gilded Shadows?

I don't actually know. I feel like there are some parallels that suggest they could be in the same universe but it's not explicit enough to say for sure. There are some things that don't quite align as well.

WSC is further into the future either way though.

I think Gilded Shadows is about 500 earth years into the future while WSC is around 1100 years in the future. 

So even if they're the same universe, they sit pretty differently in the timeline. 

When is everyone's birthday?

I can't really answer this question without honestly just making it up on the spot. Outside of Changeling...literally none of my characters were born on Earth so I've never thought about their birthdays. 😥

That said, even though I don't know everyone's Earth birthday - I did create an entire zodiac for Veleians in When Stars Collide (I can't even remember now why I made it. LoL) and the character cards do mention what everyone's sign is.

Maybe I'll start posting the zodiac soon. I think the zodiac images aren't quite finished yet though. 🤣
