Halloo~oo! Time for the GS devlog for this week. OWO

This Week's Summary:

• Finished writing Ch 11
• Halfway through writing Ch 12

The Ramble:

Another fairly short devlog as I slooowly inch toward being finished with Yuu's draft.

This week I finished up with Chapter 11 and started working on Chapter 12. 

Heidi Faber, previously only seen in Ari's route, makes an appearance. =oo

I actually didn't expect to use Heid outside of Ari's route but she ended up being useful to establish a particular plot point of Yuu's route and I like having her show up again so we can see another side of her. I like being able to explore side characters from different perspectives across multiple routes because it just shows that people are multi-faceted.

This chapter is setting up the story climax in the next chapter and has a little bit of a 'calm before the story' aspect. So....given where I've left off writing this week, things are about five seconds from going to hell...

It should be interesting to see how things go next week.

I do expect to be wrapping up the drafting of Yuu's route in the next two weeks and will start editing after that.

I don't know how long it will take to write Chapter 13 - climax chapters often take a bit longer than other chapters because there's a lot going on.

Meanwhile, Chapter 14 is a short chapter with no choices or variations outside the endings, so they're usually faster to draft.

So it's difficult to predict how quickly it will actually go. But either way - nearly there.

Upcoming Week:

I have 2.5 chapters left to write. Though given that I'm halfway through 12 and 14 is really more like a half chapter too....

It's almost more like 2 chapters.

Though I think it would be great to finish up the route in the next week, realistically I might not be able to as, like I said before, climax chapters are always a bit more work to complete.

But we'll see. 

Definitely close to wrapping up the drafting for Yuu.
