Hello! Time for the Gilded Shadows devlog.

This Week's Summary:

Finished Ch 6 of Yuu's route
Started Ch 7 of Yuu's route
Released Reuben's route! (Huzzah!)

The Ramble:

Short ramble this week because I have been focusing on writing Yuu's route and meeting my daily word counts as his route progresses.

I ended up going off my outline for Yuu Ch6 since I felt it ended in an unsatisfying way and I really needed to actually have Yuu show up. So a part of their encounter in Ch7 was moved to Ch6 and instead they get a cute scene together after Morgan has a bit of a harrowing day.

I like how it turned out a lot and I'm glad I ended up adding/changing the scene there at the end.

The next chapter involves a lot of character things and the love scene, which is actually the earliest any of the characters sleep together. LoL

Reuben's route was finally released and I was so nervous about it. Even more than the full game, I think. I'm glad it's out in the wild and I can turn my attention elsewhere. I love Reuben as a character but his route was TOUGH. Honestly, similar to Caleb, whom I also love as a character, but whose route I really struggled with.

Yuu's route, so far, has been going along pretty smoothly. It's plot is a bit lighter so that means I can focus more on character related things instead, which is nice to be able to do after a really plot heavy route.
