Hello! Time for the devlog. >=3

This Week's Summary:

Finished sprite expressions.
Brainstormed Yuu's plot

The Ramble:

There isn't too much to report this week actually. I coded expressions...all week. 😩

And it was super tiring but I got entirely finished (well, there are a few short scenes left because I don't have those sprites done. But it's finished for all intents and purposes.

I don't know why but this route felt particularly exhausting when it came to doing the expressions. I don't think there were any more in this route than usual, but it was SO tiring. ;A;

But it's done now.

I did work on brainstorming Yuu's revised plot this week and I think I have a general idea of what I'm going to try to do with it.

But mostly it was just sprites.

Sneak Peeks:

Haaaaaaaave some sneak peeks of Reuben's office.

And of Morgan being hangry.

Also blushy Reuben. Cause why not? Everyone needs more blushy Reuben.

Upcoming Week:

This week I will probably shift into working on the few sprites needed for this route. And maybe a few simple animations for some of the BGs. Like a few of the other routes, there's not a huge opportunity for BG animations because so much of the route happens in doors. But I have a few I want to do...

With expressions done, another huge chunk of the work is done. And the biggest remaining thing is probably the CG art - but I'm not going to be working on that until sprites are done.

I'd say that, overall, his route is about 75-80% complete at this point. It's still a few weeks out just because CGs take a little more time now that I have to pace myself but we are nearly to the point of beta testing! Very exciting!

Anyway, that is all. Next week I should have some new sprites to show you. See you theeen!
