Hallooo! Time for this week's update!

This Week's Summary:

• Finished revising Ch 10
• Finished revising Ch 11
• Finished revising Ch 12

The Ramble:

Finished 2.5 chapters this week. 😤😤

I only have two chapters left and, really, it's more like 1.5 because Chapter 14 isn't really a full chapter.

But remember that I will be starting a second round of revisions after this. I do expect to blow through the first half of the route pretty fast during round 2, then have to start slowly down to do more clean up around Chapters 7 and 8 because that is where the heavy re-writing started.

Even so, getting through the first revision is a big milestone...that I expect to hit next week. LoL

Ch 12 is where the first love scene happens for Reuben. I think he's the first character since Ari and Magnus to hold out this long and I was laughing at just how thirsty Morgan is for him by this point. 🤣🤣 She has to be SO patient.

This is also the only love scene (I THINK. I could be forgetting) where the player gets the choice to take the lead or let the LI lead...after you've already passed the 'status check'.

It's always nice when things flow a little differently. Adds interest, I think, when the routes aren't identical.

Upcoming Week:

I will definitely finish Ch 13 and 14 this week. I imagine I'll also start on round 2 as well.

As I mentioned earlier, I expect round 2 of revisions to go very fast through the early chapters and then slow down as I start hitting the more significant revisions toward the middle of the route. I don't know how far I'll get in round 2 by my next update.

And after THAT revision, I have to do a line edit for typos and grammar issues. And then I will be done with revisions. 😤😤 

(That will definitely be in January).

Next week might be my last proper devlog for the year. A lot of things are in the upcoming weeks (holidays, wedding anniversary) - so I don't know how much time I'll have to really sit down and write lengthy updates. You may just get some brief check-ins.
