- Completed Ch 12 and 13 of Reuben's route!
The Ramble:
Hey everyone!
Very quick update this week! I completed the rest of Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 this week! Ch 13 was a tough one (as the climax chapter always is) and I'm definitely feeling the beginnings of burn out on this project.
But I managed to get 13 drafted and now I only have Chapter 14 left! Ch 14 is generally a short chapter and the only branching is for the endings, so it's much simpler to write than the others. Except for the love scene. LoL
I'm hoping I can get the whole thing written on like...Monday.
Then start editing!
But yeah, there's not much to report as all I did was write and struggle with the story climax. ;A; But it's DONE.
And I have one chapter left.
Reuben's route is currently about 107,000 words (uncoded, of course) so far. We'll see where it ends up by the time I'm done drafting. The overall word count for the project is 976,000 words (probably only about 917000 coded though). It's weird that my next "mid-range" milestone is....hitting 1,000,000 words. LoL ๐ช

Upcoming Week:
Finishing Reuben's draft and starting on the revising! And that's about it. I probably will continue to focus on writing and not art for a while but sometimes during revising I do get the itch to start doing sprites or CGs. So we'll see!
But mostly, yeah, continuing to focus on the writing for Reuben's route.
