WSC - Quickie Ramble

Just posting a quick ramble about WSC.
For anyone new, WSC (When Stars Collide) is a side project I've been working on here and there for the past year and a half/nearly two years. It's a science fiction project and I work on it basically late at night and on weekends...
Sometimes
(More regularly lately as I'm trying to pace myself with GS and not actually work on my main project every waking hour.)
WSC is a single-plot game with overlapping routes. Originally, I was thinking I wanted to set up flowcharts in this game as well.
But. I've put together flowcharts of the existing chapters and let me just say...
I'm having doubts about doing flowcharts. 🤣🤣
I do think that if I include them, they'll have to be vertical so I have more space for the branching. But I'm staring at this and wondering if I've lost my mind.
(I should note that this is the worst chapter so far and they aren't actually all this bad. This chapter is 55,000 words due to the branching and variations and the other chapters aren't this big or branched).
But yeah. I am contemplating the flowcharts. I've only written up to Chapter 5 of this game so I think I'll just continue to watch it and keep track of how mad these things are before I make a call on whether to include them.
