Hi everyone! Time for this week's update.

This Week's Summary:

• Worked on Reuben's route
• Made a few small corrections to Quill things

The Ramble:

Hey everyone! This will be a short update this week.

Quill's route has been out to beta testers and I've gotten some (positive) feedback on the route in general. I have not started making corrections yet as I wanted everyone to have time to comb through the route. When there is a full route like this to test, it's a lot of replaying and a lot of searching out different things. So it's easier to wait and do it all at once once people have had time to go through everything.

In the meantime, I've started working on Reuben's route.

I'm currently in Chapter three and the route is 40,000 words of writing and notes. Quill's route was another very laid back route - maybe even more than Lance because Morgan really gets to be far away from anything relating to Endgame and the like.

Reuben's route won't be that laid back but I think it'll be fun to explore what happens if Morgan doesn't go to Endgame but also doesn't end up in some isolated place where she can push those things a little off to the side. Chapters 1 and 2 of Reuben's route are the usual set up so the player understands the situation she's in and gets hints about how things are going to go...

Chapter 3 is the first chapter that starts to set up the general premise behind this route's plot. The next chapter is where we really hit the ground and start running with that premise.

Anyway, yeah! So this week was essentially just letting beta testers do their thing while I tried to get started writing!

Did you know that with Quill's route done and including the chapters completed in Reuben and Yuu's routes....

The overall writing is 82% complete? =o Well, that's just basing it on the total number of chapters.

Anyway, the overall uncoded word count right now is 908,000. I am still predicting my total coded word count to, alas, be just over 1,000,000 words. 😔😔

Sneak Peeks:

None really. Uh...have my spreadsheet again! I've managed to reduce my daily word count a bit from meeting my daily goals and what have you!

Upcoming Week:

I am not yet sure if I'll go ahead and write for this entire week and start doing corrections the week after or if I'll peek into the corrections file this week. But it'll be that kind of thing.

And that's really all for the update. Since it's kind of a writing/editing situation and everything else is done, the update is a bit boring. LoL
