The Ramble:

Just writing this week. I am about ⅓ of the way through Chapter 8.

My word count is nearly 70,000 words for Quill's route so far. And his route is hanging at around 30% branching, which is perfect.

In this chapter, another familiar character will cameo. I have a lot of scenes planned for this chapter, but Chapter 9 is looking a bit sparse, so I think I may need to do another divide and have some scenes occur in the next chapter.

All the events in my outline are fine but I divided the chapters up REALLY weirdly and I keep having to shift things around to make the chapter divisions work well.

There's not a whole lot to report this week - as you know when I'm writing, sometimes there's not much to say other than "Yes, I wrote."

Another interesting thing I did this week was some "fashion research" for Morgan and some of the other characters. Morgan is likely to get a couple of route-specific outfits like she did for Lance and I just kind of have to decide what I want for her look.

So I've been compiling some outfit inspiration - and I thought while I was looking at Quill's stuff, I'd probably look at Reuben's stuff too. For Yuu's route, she's back at Endgame so will be using a lot of the old outfits and hairstyles but for Quill and Reuben, probably new stuff.

I think I've decided on her Quill clothes - not sure about Reuben yet. I also will probably need at least one more outfit for Reuben? I feel like he'll need a non-working outfit...

So yeah, mostly art plans. I've been looking for that CG of Quill's kiss I mentioned and I can't find it because I don't remember what it's named.

But I know it's on my computer *somewhere*

Upcoming Week:

Finish Chapter 8, hopefully move on to Chapter 9 (maybe even write...*gasp* LOVE SCENE) and...that's probably it. LoL

Well, maybe I'll do some outfit sketches for Morgan. 🤩🤩 I want to try out a new hairstyle for her too. OwO
