Surprise ultra-sneaky sneak peek
Added 2020-11-01 01:12:49 +0000 UTCI'm not saying that in the midst of writing down all the idea vomit I had yesterday for the non-existent Steampunk project of the future that I ended up spending some time working on a sprite for said non-existent project because he's the only main character that I know for sure will be in that game yet does not have a character design.
But I did, in fact, do that. A lot of the characters have existed for years so they have pretty set-in-stone designs. This guy (currently named Marcus) however, has been in my head for maybe a year - year and a half now. I've had a vague mental image of him but nothing too specific. So I ended up wanting to draw him.
While this game is Steampunk, I do not adhere to the "Stick some gears on it and call it steampunk" mentality of Steampunk aesthetic design. Well, there are some anachronistic elements of course, but they probably won't have as much cog glitter as a lot of Steampunk character designs.
ANYWAY. I am *not* going to be working on this project alongside GS. This was a one off 'I'm doing this thing right now and won't touch it again for a really long time' sort of thing. But it was fun to take a short break and do this.
It's always nice when a character that's been in your head for a long time finally gets out. LoL.
I thought you guys might enjoy seeing it.
