OpenTrackr Finances (2024)

First of all, I wish everyone a happy new year!
Just as prior years, I'm here to publish OpenTrackr's financial state of last year (2024).
The attached sheet will contain all incoming and outgoing transactions of OpenTrackr.
For this year there are barely any transactions, as I've mostly been making bigger payments for 5 or 6 months of co-location. This saves me time and effort by pre-paying for our datacenter co-location in bigger batches.
This year's sheet will contain 4 transactions, 2 in, 2 out.
Anyways I hope this gives transparency into how we're doing financially and where your money is going to.

If you don't wish to open the document, here is a little summery:
Between 2024-01-01 - 2024-12-31* we've had:
- Income: €762.83
- Expenses €918.39
We've started the year with €3,186.87 in reserves from previous years and have closed the year with €3,031.31 in reserves.
Just like last year our server costs €83.49/month, which means our reserves will last for 3 years. However combined with ongoing support from patreon's (like you!) this gets extended quite a bit longer
We've unfortunately received less donations than we have expenses though, which does mean we're very slowly running through our reserves. This is (temporarily) ok at our current rate, but it is something we should keep an eye on.
For now the current remaining reserves contain adequate financial buffer in case of unexpected hardware failures or upgrades (if any) in 2025.

* There is one incoming transaction marked 2025-01-01, this is our 2024 Patreon payout. I've however counted this towards our finances of 2024 due to them originating from collections in that year.
