I wanted you to be the first to know that I'll be teaming up with AirBnB to host a series of craft workshops in Tokyo next month. I will be joined by my friend and master artisan Yukihito Kanai from the island of Amami Oshima and together, we will demonstrate the ancient art of mud dyeing. I often use these techniques to dye my own garments, and in this workshop you will learn more about this special craft, creating a unique piece that you can take home. We will conclude the session with an intimate acoustic concert.

These unique experiences will be limited to10 participants per session, and go on sale at 9am JST on 20th November.

The sessions will be held on:

Monday 8th December : 1300

Monday 8th December : 1700

Monday 15th December :1300

Monday 15th December : 1700

Each session will last for approximately 2 hours 15 minutes and will be held in Tokyo.

2025年12月8日(月)、12月15日(月)にAirbnbとの共催でクラフトワークショップを開催いたします。

今回は奄美大島からお越しいただく金井工芸の金井志人さんをお迎えし、
古来より伝わる「泥染め」の技法をご紹介します。

このワークショップでは「泥染め」について学びながら、
参加者一人一人がそれぞれお持ち帰りいただける作品を作ります。
ワークショップの最後には、ミニアコースティックライブも行います。

各回10名限定の特別な体験です。
