God. I forgot how amazing Weller is and how fantastic Tenant is behind him. Fucking flawless delivery and such a tightly written character.

2021-02-12 04:50:59 +0000 UTCSo, in the first two episodes they set up Jodie - the guy Miranda is with now - as being dumb, a bit of a casual jerk, and a little creepy with his inappropriate flirtation and oversharing with Miranda. Except now we get that recontextualized. They were already together when he asked her if she wanted to get coffee, and their bickering on their way to a mission sounds really different in the new context. A lot of people continue to dislike Jodie, because he swooped in on Chase's girl, but four years is a lot of time to move on. I kind of feel for the guy; he's been dealt a raw hand in this whole affair, as have Chase and Miranda.
