No Toph Heavy news today for a few reasons. I said on twitter I was feeling stagnant as an artist, and that's true. I decided to pour all of my knowledge into a single pin-up to gauge where I'm at in terms of skill.
Behold THE ROCKINI
One of the earliest drawings I made of Busty Older Toph was of her in a rock bikini - a rockini. It was taken down by Deviant Art, and I subsequently lost the photoshop file. I'm sure its out there on the internet somewhere. I don't have it.
I'm using this as a baseline for where I am regarding composition, anatomy, foreshortening, perspective, backgrounds, inking, flatting, and rendering. These are all things I need to improve on and I'm taking some time to work on those.
The other reason is that tomorrow is the anniversary of my Dad passing away, and I'm not in a great mental.
