Garra! We saw Tsunade talking to the Sand in her office a few episodes ago but we didnt know it was them, plus the 3 shadows moving in the trees in previous episodes was nice foreshadowing. They wouldnt switch up a character like that just for the reveal of "its the sand ninja!" without good reason so i hope they give the time to explain in detail, i really cant remember. About the filler, you could watch it but it doesnt contribute to the overall story plus even some of the canon episodes are pretty non eventful. There are some filler arcs that are worth watching, patreons should be able to point them out as we approach but if you dont skip filler, itll be at least 5 years before youve finished Shippuden if you plan to watch it
