I knew you guys would catch it. That shot of Vader. He remains a Padowan. Regardless of his power, still prey to his own frailties and shortcomings. One of my favourite edits in the entire franchise. A bold statement maybe. But think about it. All that this sequence contains. His journey, Kenobi’s, the hubris of the Jedi, the perpetual cycle of pain that charts the evolution of the dark side of the force, the breakdown of their relationship being the catalyst for the entire saga, all of it encapsulated in this brief moment of insight in to the life of the chosen one. Only he, who travelled to the extremes of what the force is or could be, would be the one to bring balance and rectify the mistakes of both the Sith and the Jedi. In this moment you see the conflict that charts his entire story. A conflict brought about by opposing ideologies equally arrogant in their own orthodoxy. And Anakin is the torn soul that resides in the epicentre of that struggle. A boy, whose innate power and mastery of the force destined him to become the focus of all their attention, and a living testament to their mistakes. Only the love of his son, finally, allowing him to free himself from those that sought to control him. In that moment. That’s what I saw. It’s a great sene.

When Vader tossed the other half of her lightsaber over to her …. 🐐

Loved every second of that final exchange between her and Vader. Especially when the Grand Inquisitor showed up to roast.
I was wondering why Vader was so quick to praise and give her what she wanted before capturing Kenobi. It was all manipulation to play on her ambitions and goal for his own gain when he never intended on keeping her around.
Inquisitors are supposed to be Sith Acolytes, follow them around, do their bidding, and die when necessary. Some go beyond but it's rare, and most die off with/due to their masters.
