D&D or ...?

Okay, so as most people know, WotC is gutting the OGL and making things pretty much impossible for creators such as myself to move forward in the same manner as we have been. We're fighting it, but every leak we have been receiving from the inside has proven them to be even more deceitful and duplicitous then previously.

To that end, I'm going to shift gears "eventually" to adjust to the changes. I'm still going to make 5E content for as long as I'm legally allowed to. Even after switching, everything will be made to be easily compatible with 5E content.

I'm curious to hear what other systems would be interested in seeing here or just comments in general. Let me hear your thoughts!

What would you like to see instead instead of D&D-specific content?

(shamelessly jacking this list off my friend Tom Cartos, go get his maps if you aren't already)

Comments

I'm going to include a glossary/index for terms to easily translate to 5E no matter what I use.

Yeah, the ORC is what i'm most interested in personally. I think it will be the closest we can get to 5E without shifting too far. I'm in talks with DMDave about his Endless Journeys SRD, too, which is... close-ish? Enough to keep things moving forward, at least.

I believe at this point Paizo, Kobold Press, Frog God, Green Ronin and a few others are all working together on a new, probably 5e compatible open D&D rules system. I am not interested in writing for or playing 3.5/Pathfinder personally but some adore it. At heart I am a 1E guy but I have pulled everything I had up for 1E off of the Android Appstore due to an abundance of caution. So I vote for a rewritten 5e compatible system that does not require a license at all from anyone. #FREERPG

I would have voted for system neutral but that's difficult to do when stating encounters. However I really enjoy your writing style and the fun, innovative adventures you offer. All these systems are close enough; I'll just do a conversion into whatever system is currently being played at the table. Hell, there's a few adventures I was going to scrub the fantasy off of and insert into a modern/ near-future setting.
