2022-03-04 09:22:59 +0000 UTCGuys! Great reaction as always. It was good to hear Jai reference My Hero Academia which (to me) has some of the best pacing and storytelling of any Anime. I thought Jai just straight-up disliked Anime until I listened to the after DS conversation. I have said MANY times that Demon Slayer suffers from BACKWARDS STORYTELLING. It's actually sad to me because I have read the manga and I know how the whole thing ends and you FINALLY understand why Tanjuro is the way he is along with the whole entire development of the plot but it seems like you all just don't have the patience to WANT to hang in there to get to the payoff (animation and fight scenes aside). I totally understand! Heck, I still want you guys to check out Samurai Champloo but I know AOT will destroy it in a poll. I will rock with whatever is decided. I honestly feel Cowboy Bebop (Anime) should be a thought due to the Netflix live-action series BUTCHERING it. The special thing about being Anime fans is the fact that most of them live on action alone so they never put too much thought into DEEP AND RICH STORY. With you all being Sci-Fi Star Wars fans I can understand how not having a decent plot could be killer to you when you are use to having that even though it's Anime. And BEL-AIR! That is a GOOD show I think you would like. Keep up the reactions!
