I read the manga and I immediately knew the animators were gonna come through and judging by the reviews/ratings I’m glad it got the recognition it got.

2022-03-01 03:03:35 +0000 UTCI watched the first 3 episodes of this season & dropped it. Only came back because my cousin said it gets way better & it's only 11 episodes. Fam was wrong, way too many unexplained things for me to overlook. If a certain someone would have taken a certain deal I'd come back for season 3 just to see where things go. But nah looks like this is gonna end here for me, shout out to the animators though, top notch work.

One of the things I love about demon slayer is the way they take their time telling the story and revealing major plot points to us further along. But I also tend to be a patient person haha.

I don’t think ppl need to read the manga to be able to appreciate this series when it comes to the story

For the most part, the animation studio doesn't change anything story wise. They stay as faithful as possible to the source material as it's kind of looked down upon to change story beats. On a side note, I will agree with you that the random bits of comedy and internal monologues can take away from the tone of what's happening. Also Tanjiro's power up has been foreshadowed for a while now. Whenever they show a sun breather, they always have a scar on their head, just like Tanjiro and his father. Also, react to Black Lagoon and Vinland Saga please

That coupled with not liking anime in the first place is going to make it hard for any anime watched honestly. You look at some of the most prominent anime in history and half of them don't explain stuff up front or in order until after major events happen. I appreciate y'all struggling through anime because that makes this Patreon page fun for me along with everything else.

Demon Slayer is.amazing is well but as I keep saying you are going to need patience for it's story to develop. That's the onlu knock against it because it does backwards story telling.
