Hi All -
As Dan has noted in his recent messages and video, we want to do more with this platform. You deserve more than pre-orders and pre-sales. The internet "made" HANL, and we need to be more accountable to its rules of engagement. Me, especially.
Some of you may follow my IG, which is also the official mouthpiece of CONSUMER - @massivesubsidies. It's taken me close to 5 years to actually figure out how to use it well. However, my style is pretty oblique, and Dan has done enough AMA streams to make me wonder: "what if I just acted like a fucking person?" I've been candid for band interviews from time to time, and I try to be generous after our scattered shows, but that's about it. "Tim Lives in the Woods".
SO: this coming Sunday, Nov. 19th, I will try to be a person for the camera. Over the course of this week, post any prompt you wish me to respond to in the Patreon stream. I think I gained enough experience teaching to the screen during the pandemic years to make it not suck. The final product that gets sent back to Legrand Society will also include some recent home recordings. I have a lot of those.
The word "content" bothers me, but here goes.
