Choice B: She stumbles into a problem

Panting and wheezing as she made her way uphill, Celestia managed to reach the Canterlot bridge connecting the fashion quarters to the dining quarters. She blew a feeble moan, her large swollen stomach aching as it felt fit to burst. Tenderly rubbing it with a hoof helped a little, but as soon as she began walking, it would continue swaying like a pendulum, tossing and turning her indigested gorge. Her now chunky legs felt sore, unused to carrying so much weight. Midway through the fashion quarter, she’d likely collapse from exhaustion.

Lifting her head up, her eyes bulged with fear at the sight of somepony with a lantern walking up to the bridge. She frantically looked around for someplace to hide, mortified at the thought of being seen by another pony in this state. To her  right was an old bakery with a wagon parked around its side, complete with a tarp flung over it. It would have been a good hiding place, but with the state her stomach was in, she’d never be able to climb up the back without making copious amounts of noise.

Celestia looked to the bakery itself, noticing a side door just across from the cart; seeing as it was the closest thing to her, she had no choice but to break in. She bit her lip as she waddled over, doing her best not to groan from the discomfort of moving. Using her magic, she unlocked the door and wiggled her way inside, wincing from the doorframe squishing at her fat gut. Immediately shutting the door, she bent her head down to look through the keyhole.

For whatever reason, the pony with the lantern began slowly making its way toward her. The princess apprehensively squealed, sweat dripping down her brow. Perhaps they had spotted her on the bridge and saw her breaking into the bakery? Or perhaps it was someone from the castle sent to look for her? She couldn’t be sure just from a glance; the glow of the lantern light and the black of night created a dark silhouette around the pony. They were getting closer, and there were little places for her to hide.

The storage room itself was rather small, fairly condensed with the essential ingredients for desserts. There were shelves to her left with a variety of cake decorations, and ingredients. To the back of the room were crates, barrels, and boxes for pies, cakes, and cookies. And to the right of her were sacks of both flour and sugar, separated in two pyramids. The princess squeezed herself between them, hiding behind them with an adequate enough gap between them and the wall.

Celestia heard the other pony from behind the door; a mare humming a jovial tune to herself. Fiddling with a key in the lock, she immediately took it out. “Huh, nice of them to leave it open,” said the pony, whistling as she walked in.

The pony hung the lantern in the center of the small room, its orange glow illuminating the darkness. Celestia peaked from behind the sacks to get a look at the pony. She gulped a wad of saliva, her suspicions confirmed as she was one of her sister’s nightguard. The bat pony was gray with purple mane and wings; their cutiemark was three white petaled flowers with green stems. She was rather rotund for a guard, the purple armor she wore barely managed to fit around her waist.

She walked up to the crates at the back of the room, moving some to the side and pulling one of them out, chuckling to herself. “Hehe, right where he said it’d be.”

She opened the crate, sitting comfortably on the floor as she pulled out a pie. Making a loud lip smacking sound, the pony suddenly shoved it in their face with wanton abandon. Celestia watched in confusion, no longer fearful that they were searching for her. The pony gleefully murmured, basking in her gluttonous indulgence much like she did at the donut shop. Pie tin after pie tin was stacked beside her, clean of crust and filling like dinner plates after a wash. She saw now why the guard was so hefty, witnessing a kindred spirit with plenty of expertise in overeating.

Stomach gurgling, a gaseous build up traveled up to Celestia’s throat. She covered her mouth with both hooves, but her burp proved too strong, alarming the bat pony from her meal.

“W-whos there,” she said, jumping up to her hooves, “s-show yourself!”

Celestia revealed herself from behind the sacks. The bat pony’s eyes shot out with terror, flabbergasted at seeing one of her superiors here of all places. “P-p-princess Celestia? Y-your highness! I can explain…ugh…wait, what happened to you? You’re so…big?”

The princess wryly giggled, “we have the same…interests, it would seem. You gave me a fright when you approached the door, I actually thought my sister sent you to look for me.”

“Oh, er, no princess. The baker here kinda owed me a favor, so he left me some pies. Uh…would you…like some? Heh.”

“Oh no, I couldn’t possibly. There is something I’d like your help with, however.”

“Y-yes, princess?”

“You saw that wagon outside? I’ve had…a bit much to dine on tonight, and would be mortified if the other guards or my sister were to see me like this. If you could pull that wagon while I hid under the tarp, and sneak me into the back of the castle, I’ll certainly make it worth your while.”

The bat pony nervously gulped. “W-worth my while, princess?”

“Oh yes,” Celestia winked, “I’ll throw you a private feast worthy of your…talents. A pony with your palette deserves a chance to truly let go, and I’d be happy to help. What do you say?”

The bat pony wiped drool from her lips. “It’s a deal.”

Leaving her pies behind, the bat pony wasted no time in prepping the wagon. Celestia chuckled to herself, amused at how fervent the guard was over the prospect of overeating. It was a touching reflection of her own happiness that night, and the ardent excitement she felt over eating lemon cakes and donuts. It was nice to meet other gluttons within Canterlot, especially those willing to help keep her secret, even for one night.

From behind the castle, Celestia snuck back through her secret entrance and returned to her room. Slumping onto her bed, she wryly smiled, finally relaxing her body and able to appreciate her girth in comfort. Caressing her hoof across her swollen gut, she blissfully murmured at the soft touch of her squishy gut; the ample amount of desserts having partially digested into doughy pudge.

As she drifted into a well earned slumber, she dreamt of sitting in her throne room packed wall to wall with decadent food. Her throne was widened to fit her carriage crushing plot, pouring over the sides and down the steps like melted ice cream. Her belly spilled its way to the very bottom, an ocean of white rippling lard growing larger and larger. A magical vortex vacuumed the food all around her, pouring it into her open mouth smothered by her mammoth-like cheeks and thick neck rolls. Relentlessly engorging herself, she imagined the pleasure she’d feel from amassing such an overglutted stomach. Truly a life fit for a royal, and all thanks to Twilight opening her eyes to the possibilities.

Celestia smiled in her sleep. The future was sure to be exciting. Until the day she is able to make her dream into a reality, she’ll be sure to enjoy many of the smaller feasts along the way.

The Wind King

Very much so. Just thought, why not have a little cameo to end Celestia's 1st day of gluttony. Who knows, if the muse hits, maybe she'll make a return in the future x3.
