It's a little more comprehensive than just the "make bigger" quick templates, but I feel it gives a more realistic and balanced approach. I included a "Dire Vulture" stat block (with accompanying token for the Adventurer+ patrons) as an example!

I kinda miss the old 4e dire monsters that actually had different abilities than their mundane counterparts. 5e just changed everything to "giant" and made them bigger.
