2021-12-31 12:21:07 +0000 UTCRegarding Mack, it’s worth pointing out he was Chief Engineer on that high level SHIELD Aircraft Carrier back before the Hydra uprising. He’s run a big ass team before, he’s just still green when it comes to making tough combat/operations calls.

2021-12-30 20:48:19 +0000 UTCI really like your analysis of Mack’s character, but unless I’m mistaken Mack’s didn’t call Coulson again after he consulted May. His conversation with May, specially her telling him that as the man in charge he should make the call, was the last of him asking someone’s opinion on what he should do.
