Wondrous item (spell focus), rare (requires attunement by a druid or cleric)

This palm-sized wooden totem is carved to resemble a raven’s skull wreathed in thorns. It is slightly warm to the touch. While holding this totem, you gain a +1 bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throws of your spells. In addition, you can use an action to speak its command word to regain one expended spell slot at a cost of 5 hit points multiplied by the level of the spell slot. Once you have used this totem in this way, it cannot be used this way again until you have completed a short or long rest.

The Bloodthorn druidic clan was once strong and prosperous throughout the Bleeding Valley. These druids mixed powerful natural spells with blood magic to strike fear into the hearts of any who would threaten the forests. The clan has been reduced to a scattered smattering of members since the advance of the orcish hordes.
