Aid and Luke aren't one for sappy goodbyes. I imagined them to be more embracing of the fact thet won't remain friends forever. But they will acknowledge that they had some food times.

I suppose they did indeed end up meeting up again in the end? Really neato that the two of them had some ties before somehow by some miracle getting assigned together in the same squad.
