Added 2024-05-15 13:10:12 +0000 UTCSomeone on instagram suggested I draw Luke wearing the outfit of that guy from Back To The Future since that was one of his favorite movies. So far I have the jacket down. Was really inspired by some manga artists work, especially horikoshi. The poses feel so dynamic and natural, not to mention they have great angles and perspective! I tried to emulate a bit of that in this post, yet to be finished colored. Ping is just here for moral support. Trying to come up with a cute duo nickname. The sunshine duo? The friendlies? XD (Are these corny?)
Also, did I mention that I think making lineart by cleaning up the sketch is my new go to for lineart? Guys, it's CRAZY how fast I get it done now. And I think everything looks more organic and natural too! Things I have learned: Sketch with red/pink. Make lineart by cleaning sketch layer.
