It's hard to tell the difference between something being out of your comfort zone because you'll learn or grow from it, or if it's because it'll be bad for you or someone else. You have to have hard lines with certain things because you have to protect yourself, but you also have to be open to some things to find more beyond your walls. The human mind is amazing at finding patterns based on prior experience, so if you ever get that gut feeling, you gotta follow it, because your inner mind is realising something you aren't. I find wisdom comes from experience and observation; sometimes curiosity can help you go into a bad situation just for the experience. Make sure you give yourself time to breathe, think, and feel. Being an efficient machine can help you get a mountain of things done, especially in difficult times, but it can sacrifice yourself too. What I'm trying to say is, you're doing great. Keep moving forward in all ways, at all times.

2024-12-07 15:16:19 +0000 UTCIn last 5 years, it seems impossible to get a decent hair cut. .All the experience barbers and hair stylists have vanished off the face of the Earth. :( These days you have to supervise the hair stylist every step of the way. Tell them to cut and comb in half inch increments, then ask for the mirror and double check their work. Do not sit back or relax and assume that they know what you want. The word assume is composed of three words, ... how to make as ASS out of U and ME. It is ok to self love and care for yourself. Vanity is not evil, and like everything else in this world, don't go excessive with it. In knowing people, ... you will see everything happen. The good, the bad and the ugly are all waiting for you. And you must decide what to do. If you can , keep a diary of things happening in life so you can reflex back on what to do for the future. And I mean reflex only, not reminisce. In questioning your self worth, a real human being lives for purpose and feeling, ... not value. Value and honor walks hand and hand, ... and the world preaches it everyday, but as the British would say, value is only the trait of a servant and honor belongs to his task master. Integrity to oneself and others is better, but remains invisible to the world. And it happens everyday, ... kind a like the good driver going down the road ... is never notice.
