I know you don’t know anything about guns but you’re grossly overestimating the effectiveness of these. The beauty of a semi automatic gun is you get correction shots. You throw one left or low you can fix it then empty the rest of the clip steady at a much more precise rate than just emptying a whole clip offline and dealing with the recoil. but there are certain legal modifications and certain not, like where Im from in NYC you can have beams/lasers, drum mags, scopes etc. but switches are illegal everywhere. switches are classified as a machine gun under the NFA, and thus must be registered to be legal. Regrettably, the passage of the GOPA in 1986 stopped any new machine gun registrations after that year. The switch wasn’t invented until after then, so, unless you have a time machine, it is impossible for it to be legal

I would prefer every handgun they had was auto so most of the bullets go toward the sky and not hit people. Its much harder to aim or control and they would only be able to hit people from very close ranges. Full auto may seem more deadly but its often not cause people can't aim it.

You can't make guns illegal in the US, it's an impossible task. There are 700 million legal guns in the US and probably 200 million illegal guns. if they all became illegal tomorrow you would make millions felons, on top of that the constitution has the 2nd amendment specifically to keep the government in line. So instead of "stopping violence by banning guns" the US government would actually cause the world's biggest civil war that they are guaranteed lose because it's 1-2 million vs 100-200 million (also most service members would probably switch sides or refuse to fight).

the g18 “glock 18” is the only fully auto glock with a switch already in it highly illegal in the u.s. but is used alot in east asia that is the gun that they make extended mags for, its all made specifically for the g18
