Ahsoka Portrait (Rationale)

If there was one thing that challenged me when I was studying the Fine Arts and continues to this day, then it's the human (heh) face, feet and hands, especially when it's relatively small in the A4 size and the POV is pretty zoomed out.
This piece is my attempt to confront and practice the face aspect. I've incorporated a digital Auto-level to make the image pop out more - the raw scan was really dim. I then took a digital paintbrush to create the white background, painstakingly using the mouse. It's crazy what a hi-rez scan will pick up, and even though to the naked eye you could see nothing but white paper, after scanning you could tell where my palms had been on the paper and it's not like I was drawing with dirty sweaty hands :-)
This is a late-war Ahsoka nearing 17 and she is pretty buff after continuous workouts with Rex throughout. She is in fact exercising at the moment, which is why her eyes are so 'zoned'.
